Not counting the many scientific experiments, rockets and balloons being launched the last 40 years, Swedish Space Corporation has been involved in testing aerospace vehicles and systems since 1995.

In 1995 the first dedicated test took place, when the Huygens probe was tested from a balloon by ESA. The test proved the landing system onboard the probe, which later successfully descended onto the Saturnian moon Titan.
